MESSAGE FROM OUR TEMPLE PRESIDENT

Welcome to Beth El!

Whether you are here for a life cycle event, a regular service attendee, visiting from out of town, or checking out membership, we welcome you to our k’hilah k’doshah, sacred community. When you walk through our doors, you become part of our family.

Beth El Hebrew Congregation is Northern Virginia's first and longest serving Reform congregation. Established in 1859, Beth El has a long and rich history of service to our community and our members, and we offer programs, services, and opportunities for every age and every interest. For families we have Tot Shabbat, Religious School, and b’nai mitzvot education. There are social groups such as a young professionals group, a Renaissance group and Social Seniors. If you are looking for service opportunities, Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), Brotherhood, and the Social Action Committee may be for you. And if you are in need, our Caring Community Committee is here for you to deliver meals, offer transportation, provide information and suggest resources, run errands, or just lend an ear. Here at Beth El, there is truly something for everyone.

No matter what you are looking for, we welcome you!

Julienne Bramesco
President, Beth El Hebrew Congregation

Services and events at Beth El Hebrew Congregation are open to all and people of all races, ages and sexual orientation are welcome. We hope you will join us for many of our programs.
