Mission: The purpose of the Beth El Permanent Endowment Fund (PEF) is to support the capital needs of our Beth El Hebrew Congregation and to perpetuate the Jewish life of its congregants now and into the future, through a vibrant endowment fund.
Recent Support of Beth El: After providing $30,000 annually for several year, in 2020, the PEF increased its annual support to $50,000. In 2021, the PEF provided more than $50,000 toward paying down Beth El’s mortgage and for capital expenditures. The PEF also purchased the new Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur prayer books.
How to Join the Permanent Endowment Fund: If you would like to become a member of the PEF, there are three levels of membership, which can be paid over time. These levels are Member -- $500, Sponsor -- $1,500, and Visionary -- $5,000. Please contact any of the PEF trustees or the Beth El office for more information.
Permanent Endowment Fund Trustees: The PEF is managed by trustees elected by the PEF membership.The 2021-2022 trustees are:
