One in six people will have a stroke in their lifetime that will cause disability or death. There are very effective treatments that can completely stop a stroke and save a life. The treatments are very time sensitive, so it is critical to know how to spot a stroke immediately. Alan, a 30-year resident of Alexandria, saw his family devastated by stroke and is committed to educating the city on how to stop strokes. He has given a TED talk on the topic and will be sharing this critical information as well as donating some educational tools to support the campaign.
