Every day, scammers get more sophisticated — but so can we.
Join us for an eye-opening session on fraud prevention led by Deb Cohen, Ph.D., an experienced speaker and AARP volunteer with a background in workplace education and public engagement. Drawing on insights from the AARP Fraud Watch Network, Deb will share up-to-date information on the latest scam tactics and offer practical tools you can use to recognize red flags, protect your identity, and respond effectively if you or someone you love is targeted.
Whether you’ve been approached by a suspicious caller, received a strange email, or just want to feel more confident spotting scams, this session is for you. Expect a lively, interactive presentation with real-world examples and actionable tips.
After the program, we invite you to stay for a delicious lunch, included in the registration fee. It's a great opportunity to ask follow-up questions and continue the conversation with fellow participants.
