Celebrate summer at a slow and leisurely workday from 9 am to 11 on Sunday, July 14, in the Chapel in the Woods.

Easy-going— but absolutely necessary—tasks such as watering new trees and shrubs are on the agenda and will be punctuated with plenty of peach iced tea. A field full of invasive painter’s palette will be dispensed with from comfortable seated positions and the remains left in place to nourish the soil. Searching for butterflies and new midsummer blossoms such as field thistle, liatrus, iron weed, Germander and wild petunias strongly encouraged. Families are most welcome.
