Netzer & Confirmation

Sunday Mornings and/or Wednesday Evenings

Build on what you already know to explore big questions about identity, the world, and what it means to be Jewish today. It’s less about memorizing and more about thinking, discussing, and making it your own.

We meet regularly on Sundays, 12:00-1:15 pm, starting with canteen (pizza + hang time). Come for the pizza – stay for the conversations that matter.

Madrichim & Mitzvah Corp

Sunday Mornings and/or Wednesday Evenings

Madrichim and Mitzvah Corps are about stepping up, giving back, and making a real impact on your community.

As a madrich/madricha, you’ll support teachers in classrooms and help younger students learn and grow. With Mitzvah Corps, every Sunday is different – baking, helping at events, or jumping into projects that matter. Have an idea? Even better: we want you to help shape it.

BEFTY & NOVA NFTY

Stay Connected: Monthly Activities & Social Options

BEFTY is Beth El’s youth group: your home base to hang out and build friendships.

NFTY NOVA brings together teens from across the region for bigger events and new connections. Expect about one event each month at Beth El or with the NOVA crew. Show up, bring a friend, and be part of something bigger.

NFTY & NFTY-MAR

NFTY & NFTY-MAR connect you to Jewish teens across the country and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. These are national and regional youth groups within the Reform Movement, which means bigger events, new places, and a chance to meet people you wouldn’t normally cross paths with.

From regional gatherings to larger conventions, these experiences are all about expanding your circle, making friends, sharing ideas, and being part of something much bigger than your local community.
