Dear Beth El Community,
With great joy and excitement, I am thrilled to share that Rabbi Rachel Saphire has officially signed her contract and will begin serving as Beth El’s Rabbi on July 1.
This is a truly special moment for our congregation. Rabbi Saphire joins us after 17 years at Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she has served as Associate Rabbi since her ordination in 2009. She is known as a gifted community builder who brings people together across generations, strengthening worship, reimagining family engagement, cultivating young adult programming, and leading meaningful social justice initiatives.
She brings warmth, vision, creativity, and a deep passion for vibrant Jewish life and we cannot wait to begin this next chapter together as One Beth El.
In the coming months, we will share more details about her arrival and the exciting plans underway to welcome Rabbi Saphire and her family. There will be many opportunities to meet her and begin building relationships as a community.
