Wednesday, January 26, 2022 24 Sh'vat 5782

6:15 PM - 7:45 PMOnline

Through video lectures, interviews, and textual sources, this 14-unit course addresses the complex features of Jewish peoplehood and the contemporary challenges to the Jewish people in an era in which we have moved from having no home to having two different, vibrant, homes in Israel and in North America.

Sessions will be offered in-person and on Zoom.

This iEngage video series addresses the complex features of Jewish peoplehood inherent in our tradition and in our history. Who are we? What does it mean to be a member of the Jewish people? And what are some of the fundamental values that this encompasses?

Each session includes text study and discussion led by Rabbi Spinrad in addition to video lectures and roundtable discussions with leading Hartman scholars.
