Join us for a film screening of the Academy Award Nominated Best Documentary Sister Rose’s Passion and a conversation with Jordyn Barry who will expand on her unlikely personal friendship with Sister Rose. This documentary tells the inspirational story of a most unlikely activist who made the battle against anti-Semitism her life’s work. Sister Rose Thering, a gutsy Dominican nun, had the courage, toughness, and passion to resist the status quo and push for what she believed was right which had a direct bearing on the historic Vatican II Council that reformed the Catholic Church’s position on Jews and Judaism.
