JCCNV/Beth El Preschool
The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia in
collaboration with Beth El Hebrew Congregation is pleased to offer a
Jewish preschool program with extended childcare. The preschool is located
at Beth El Hebrew Congregation, 3830 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA.
The goal of the JCC Early Childhood Department is to promote developmental
growth through creative interaction between children and teachers within
a warm, caring, Jewish environment. Our curriculum includes language,
pre-reading readiness, mathematical concepts, science, nature, arts
and crafts, music, creative movement and Jewish customs and holidays.
We are also proud to offer "An Ethical Start" — a program from
the JCC Association which is based on the teachings from Pirkei
Avot (Jewish ethics).
Programs
- Program for two-year olds: (for children 18-36 months old as of Sept. 30, 2007)
- Program for three-year-olds: (for children 3 years old as of Sept. 30, 2007)
- Program for four-year-olds: (for children 4 years old as of Sept. 30, 2007)
- Full and part-time extended child care available for children two-five years old
