Beth
El's Women of Reform Judaism is committed to women, our Congregation
and to Judaism. We serve our synagogue, the Alexandria community, and
the Jewish world. Beth El's women socialize at stimulating lunchtime
and evening programs, sponsor an active social action program, run the
Judaica shop, organize holiday celebrations, and financially support
the synagogue and religious school. Our 2009-10 Board is pictured at

Beth El's Sisterhood is a member of , The Federation of Temple Sisterhoods. Founded
in 1913, WRJ represents 100,000 members in 13 countries, 600 Sisterhoods
and 12 District Federations. As the women's affiliate of the Union of
American Hebrew Congregations, WRj works on behalf of the World Union
for Progressive Judaism and the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute
of Religion, and is founder and supporter of the Jewish Braille Institute
of America, Inc.
